All software listed below is available only to authorized users within Fudan University and for use within the campus network. The Informatization Office reserves the right to pursue legal responsibility for any unauthorized acquisition, use, or distribution of software license keys obtained through improper means.
Microsoft Licensed Software (Windows & Office, etc.)
To promote intellectual property protection and meet the needs of teaching, research, and office work, Fudan University has joined Microsoft's Campus Agreement Program, providing free access to licensed Microsoft software for all faculty and students. This includes the Windows operating system series and the Office suite, which can be installed on any computer in laboratories, public computer rooms, multimedia reading rooms, offices, and other locations used for teaching, research, administration, and services.。

Kingsoft WPS Licensed Software
To better support teachers and students in teaching, research, office work, and study, and to actively respond to national initiatives promoting domestic software, Fudan University now officially offers WPS Cloud Document Service. WPS Office integrates word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF tools, and mind mapping features. It allows faster document opening and more convenient reading experiences. It supports PC clients, mobile apps, and web-based access — enabling seamless office productivity anytime, anywhere using a single WPS account. WPS Docs supports real-time collaborative editing by multiple users with version history automatically saved. It maintains full compatibility with Microsoft Office file formats, helping faculty and students work efficiently and intelligently.

Antivirus Software
A computer virus refers to malicious instructions or code inserted into programs that damage computer functions, destroy data, affect usage, and are capable of self-replication.
The Informatization Office has long provided licensed antivirus software for personal devices. With the development of the antivirus industry, built-in solutions like Windows Defender have become sufficient for everyday security needs, offering strong protection capabilities. Windows Defender updates its definition database frequently and provides real-time system monitoring. Since Windows 10, it also supports right-click scanning and offline virus removal, significantly improving detection and removal rates. Installing licensed Windows and using its built-in antivirus solution ensures effective system protection.
If built-in protection is insufficient, we recommend free domestic antivirus options:

Note: Server security is a comprehensive task requiring regular maintenance. In addition to installing antivirus software, it’s important to:
Apply system patches regularly

SPSS
The Informatization Office has purchased SPSS 20 (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) software. Faculty and students can download and use the licensed SPSS software for free . Due to limited license availability, this software is only accessible within the campus network environment. Ensure your device remains connected to the license server while using the software. Faculty who need to use the software outside the campus network should connect back via SSLVPN before launching the application.

Note: This version of SPSS does not support macOS 10.15 or later . You may try installing it on a Windows machine or apply for access to the server version of SPSS.
If the software cannot be installed or requires continuous online usage, please download the application form from the Download Center, complete it, and email it to: urp@fudan.edu.cn
Once processed, login credentials and access methods will be sent back via email. The server version must also be accessed within the campus network using remote desktop software. For Windows systems, use the built-in Remote Desktop; for macOS, install Remote Desktop or similar software.
MathWorks TAH
Fudan University has purchased the MathWorks Total Academic Headcount (TAH) license, including MATLAB and Simulink . This license is now open for use.
Due to limited license availability, the software can only be used within the campus network. When starting the software, ensure that your DNS is set to the internal university address and that you remain connected to the internet.
Faculty who need to use the software outside the campus network should connect back via VPN before launching the application.
