I. Applicants and Eligible Users
Applicants: Current faculty and staff members of Fudan University.
Eligible Users: Individuals who are not affiliated with Fudan University , including visitors, guests, or external participants.
II. Service Terms and Conditions
1.External users of the campus network (hereinafter referred to as users) must comply with relevant national laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
Interim Provisions on the Administration of International Networking of Computer Information Networks of the People's Republic of China
Implementation Measures for the Interim Provisions
Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China
In addition, users must also abide by Fudan University’s internal rules and regulations regarding campus network usage.
2. Users must not use the computer network to engage in any activities that:
Endanger national security or leak state secrets;
Involve viewing, copying, or distributing information harmful to public order or morality;
Disrupt or interfere with other network users, services, or equipment;
Include, but are not limited to: posting commercial advertisements, spreading computer viruses, or accessing unauthorized systems.
The use of online information, resources, and software must also comply with applicable intellectual property laws and regulations.
3.This account is valid only for wireless network authentication via the eduroam signal.To log in, the username must be appended with @guest (e.g., username@guest).
4.Accounts are applied for by the applicant and fall into the following categories:
Short-term personal account: Each applicant may apply for one short-term account only. Maximum validity: 7 days. Automatically activated after application.
Long-term personal account: Validity corresponds to the user’s expected duration at the university.
Conference account: Validity should not exceed the scheduled conference period.
5.If a long-term personal account or conference account needs to be extended, a new application must be submitted following the standard process.
6. Applicants must keep their accounts secure to prevent misuse or unauthorized access.
Any issues arising from account use will be the responsibility of the applicant.
7. The Informatization Office reserves the right to suspend or revoke any user account if necessary.
8. The Informatization Office reserves the final interpretation rights and the right to amend this agreement as needed.
III. Service Details
1.The Informatization Office is responsible for assigning user accounts and ensuring a stable and well-equipped network environment.
2.The Informatization Office continuously improves the software and hardware infrastructure of the campus network to meet evolving needs.
3. The Informatization Office provides necessary technical support for the use of visitor accounts.
