Password Reset Procedure
(Recommended) Self-Service Password Reset
The Informatization Office has launched the Self-Service Password Reset for UIS service. If you need to change your password or have forgotten it, please click [here] and follow the instructions on the page.
Students from the School of Continuing Education can also use this self-service function. For any issues during the review process, please contact Ms. Wang from the School of Continuing Education at 65643426.

Other Methods:
1. On-site Password Rese: Bring your valid campus ID (Fudan University One Card or student ID) to the service desk of the Informatization Office at any campus.For duty information at each campus, please refer to Contact Us.
2. Remote Password Reset:
(1) Using your Fudan email: Send an email to urp@fudan.edu.cn using your Fudan University email account (or School of Medicine email). Please include the following information: full name, student number, department, contact phone number, name of the system you need to access. A new password will be sent back to your email within one business day.
(2) Using a non-Fudan email: Send an email to urp@fudan.edu.cn using your personal email. Please provide scanned copies or photos of: your ID card, valid campus ID (One Card, student ID, or graduation certificate). Also include: full name, student number, department, contact phone number, name of the system you need to access. A new password will be sent back to your email within one business day.
3. Authorized Proxy Password Reset: You may authorize someone else to reset your password on your behalf. The proxy must bring: their own valid campus ID (One Card, student ID, or work ID), a completed and signed Password Reset Request Form.doc with the department head’s signature and official seal. They should go to the Informatization Office service desk to complete the process.
Notes:
(1) Please choose any appropriate method based on your situation.
(2) Copies of ID documents are only used as proof for password resetting.
(3) Due to system encryption rules, your original password cannot be recovered. Staff will set a new password for you.
Temporary Activation Procedure
If your UIS account has been deactivated after graduation but you still need to access systems for special reasons such as applying for a degree or signing employment agreements, you may apply for temporary activation through any of the following methods:
1. Using your Fudan email: Send an email to urp@fudan.edu.cn using your Fudan email account. Please include: full name, student number, department, contact phone number, name of the system you need to access, reason for requesting temporary activation. Activation duration and a new password will be sent back to your email within one business day.
2. Using a non-Fudan email: Send an email to urp@fudan.edu.cn using your personal email. Please provide scanned copies or photos of: your ID card, valid campus ID (One Card, student ID, or graduation certificate). Also include: full name, student number, department, contact phone number, name of the system you need to access, reason for requesting temporary activation. Activation duration and a new password will be sent back to your email within one business day.
